New Sydney based bakehouse FOLK celebrates what makes the world and the people who live in it different and unique. With a passion and appetite for enjoying good food with good folk. you’ll find warmth and bliss when you walk through their doors.

 

The Brief.

To create an identity for a new bakehouse that embodies their ethos of diversity, community and joy.

Creating a tone of voice was fundamental in representing what FOLK is all about. Generating conversation amongst the design creates a playful and relaxed tone, paying attention to FOLK’s passion to be a welcoming brand for all, breaking down the barrier between the consumer and brand.

Visually - a bold and bright illustrative style was chosen to represent the fun and friendly nature of the brand.

To represent the blending and celebration of diversity amongst the brand - utilising the universal greeting “hello” throughout print collateral represents the community at FOLK and their desire to continue to grow their family.
